Cumbuco
The lagoon that teaches and the sea that challenges
About the spot
Cumbuco became known as the kitesurf capital of Ceará for bringing two different waters together in one village: the shallow, flat lagoon, ideal for the first tacks, and the open sea, with swell and room for jumps and waves.
The village packs schools, inns and restaurants just steps from the sand, so you don't lose time travelling. It's also the launch point of the classic downwinds toward Taíba and Paracuru.
Highlights
- Flat-water lagoon
- Open sea for freestyle
- Schools just metres from the beach
