Rio Grande do Norte · Brazil
Pipa
Cliffs, dolphins and waves
About the spot
Pipa is framed by cliffs and by Dolphin Bay, one of the best-known spots in Rio Grande do Norte. The sea has consistent swell, which makes this destination a wave spot more than a flat-water one.
The village is lively and sits right on the beach, so you can ride by day and have dinner on the main street at night. A good combination for anyone travelling with a companion who doesn't only want kite.

Barra do Cunhaú
Our base: river mouth, open sea and Pipa next door
This is where Kite Caribe is based. The Cunhaú river mouth gives flat water on the right tide and the open sea is just beyond; the village of Pipa is a few minutes away. A less touristy spot, with consistent wind from August to December.
